🔥 Blanco County Burn Information

Before burning on your property, you must check whether a burn ban is in effect.

Before You Burn

  1. Call the Blanco County Sheriff at 830-868-7104 to confirm you can burn
  2. Check the Blanco County website for current burn ban status
  3. Notify your neighbors by emailing DividePassRoad+burning@gmail.com so they know about the planned burn

Notifying neighbors helps prevent unnecessary alarm or emergency calls. Please be a good neighbor and communicate before burning.

🚨 Emergency Escape Plan

In case of wildfire or other emergencies requiring evacuation, keep these guidelines in mind:

  • 1.Primary exit: Try to exit at the end of Onion Creek
  • 2.If exit is blocked: Find a cave or rocky shelter
  • 3.Emergency kit: Keep a space blanket accessible

This is a basic guide. We encourage all residents to develop a more detailed personal evacuation plan and stay aware of weather conditions during fire season.
